We are pleased to offer you this renewed and updated edition of the Practical Manual of Clinical Hematology in its seventh edition. In addition to the digital edition for mobile devices and tablets, a paper edition of the manual will be available, as well as a web version for computers.
As in previous editions, we have incorporated some new chapters and authors, as well as new tools (prognostic index calculators), always with the aim of seeking excellence and continuing with the very high level of acceptance of the work. As always, we will be receptive to suggestions that both authors and readers may make us regarding proposals for improvement and for the correction of deficiencies or errors that may be observed.
We want to express our gratitude to all the authors who have contributed to this edition of the Practical Manual of Hematology for their willingness to transmit their great knowledge with diligence, efficiency and enormous generosity, as well as the traditional collaboration of AMGEN SA and the Josep International Foundation. Carreras, without which this new edition would not have been possible.
